ASHLEE MUNOZMy name is Ashlee Munoz. I am 22 years old and I was born and raised in Tampa. I am a bit of a multi-tasker. When I am not teaching at Dawson Dance, I am pursing my full-time career as a hairstylist, and also fulfilling my dream as a professional dancer for the Arena football team, The Tampa Bay Storm part time! I have quite a bit of dance, cheer, and gymnastics experience. I began taking gymnastics when I was 7, where I had the opportunity to perform for the professional soccer team at that time called The Mutiny! I then decided that I had a little too much energy for just tumbling and decided I wanted to dance. I began my dancing at a local studio in Tampa where I learned that Jazz and Hip Hop was surely my cup of tea, after that I ventured off into something new of course, at the age of 13, I decided to join a youth cheerleading league called TBYFL. It was a blast and began to notice that I was content being a dancer and a cheerleader! I then entered high school where I tried out for the dance team and became a part of the team freshman year and captain my sophomore year. I moved schools where I became a cheerleader my junior year and my senior year and was a part of the dance team! I am currently a part of an amazing organization which I have been so fortunate to be a part of, The Tampa Bay Storm Dancers! I have been a Storm Dancer for 3 years. My teaching experience began when I was the assistant coach at Jefferson High School where I helped organize and choreograph routines. I taught at Dawson Dance the first year it was opened, and have been welcomed back for a second and wonderful year to come! |
